This Gatliff Hostel lies at the end of a secluded and peaceful valley on the rugged east coast of Harris. Offering an excellent variety for the keen walker with coastlines and mountains providing magnificent views over the sea to the Isle of Skye, the Uists, and the Scottish mainland hills. The deserted village of Molinginish can be reached by path (approx 3 mls) and there are various other ruined settlements in the area. Golden eagles, deer, seals, otters and porpoises can often be seen around this beautiful corner of Harris. Sorry no advanced bookings. Junior £5.50 / Senior £8.00

For practical reasons it is not possible to accommodate children under 5 years-of-age. Beds are usually available, but reservations cannot be made for the first night of a proposed stay. No special facilities are available.
