Nestled within the Lowther Hills, Lotus Lodge is a remote getaway in Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland. Wanlockhead is directly on the Southern Upland Way and the Lands End to John O’Groats cycle route. The Lead Mining Museum offers a historical mining experience and gold panning. Lotus Lodge is a great base for exploring the stunning surrounding area and the many attractions of Southern/Central Scotland. Only 15mins from the M74 it is also a convenient and interesting stopover on trips North or South.
