Hostelling Scotland members have until the end of June to cast their votes for the Election of Board Members.
This is a key opportunity for eligible members to participate in the annual Board Election process of Scottish Youth Hostels Association (known as Hostelling Scotland), a registered Scottish Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee.
In accordance with the Articles of Association there are 3 elected vacancies to be filled on the Board, with 6 candidates having been recommended to stand for election.

Whilst valuing the skills of current Board members, the call for 2024 Board Election candidates particularly welcomed members with the following skills:
- Property
- Finance
- IT
Hostelling Scotland is committed to a fair and transparent trustee recruitment process. To minimise unconscious bias, we have anonymised the candidates standing for Board Election 2024.
All votes cast will be treated in the strictest confidence and the election count will be conducted by the Company Secretary. Voting closes on 30th June 2024 and the results will be published by the Company Secretary on this website.
